Administratively report to: Deputy General Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Work with DGM and Pinghu management team to implement appropriate HR programs, policies and practices to support achievement of business objectives.
2. Recommend and/or provide input into changes in the staffing of the organization, and work with the management team to implement the changes.
3. Work with DGM and Pinghu management on manpower requirements and recruitment and selection to ensure we build a strong organization to meet known and contingent needs.
4. Identify training needs and develop training program to meet those needs to strengthen the organization at the plant.
5. Manage the compensation and benefits program as well as payroll.
6. Work with Department Managers and DGM to use HR processes like Performance Management to track and manage performance and provide feedback and coaching on performance issues.
7. Provide coaching and guidance to Department Managers and DGM and work with them on appropriate handling of sensitive employee issues like employee grievances, disciplinary actions, performance counseling, etc.
8. Work with production management to ensure we meet expectation for safety and house-keeping compliance.
9. Maintain close communication with Department Managers and employees to ensure proactive response to potential people issues.
10. Plan, implement appropriate employee activities to encourage teamwork and commitment.
11. Manage employee welfare services, such as annual leave, canteen service etc.
12. Work with Department Managers and DGM to update company internal admin policy.
13. Manage general administrative matters in the plant, controlling admin expenses.
14. Handle other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Above 5 years experience at HR management level, more than 10 years working experience.
- At least a college degree in Human Resource Management and or other related field.
- Experience in managing HR functions in a manufacturing environment, preferably with MNCs.
- Knowledge of HR practices and regulatory requirements
- Very knowledgeable of the new Chinese Labour Law.
- Familiar with Admin management.
- Bi-lingual in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).
