SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Currently, our Company is searching for a Project Manager with responsibility for projects in Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Dalian, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jiaxing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Wuhan, Changsha, Chengdu and Chongqing. This position will report to the Senior Project Manager.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the whole project pre-management, such as pre-qualification for Soil Investigation Institute, Design Institute, Supervision Company and the General Contractor. Prepare/review the tender document and check documents and drawings from the Geological report and the design institute.
• Check and review the tender/offer from General Contractors including technical methods of statement and Bill of Quantities.
• Responsible for the site activities like scheduling, quality control, and the construction of steel structures.
• Check and approve shop drawings from the General Contractor.
• Responsible for the site cost budget; check/clarify/approve the claims from GC and counter claims from the owner and report to headquarter (QS/Sr.PM) for final approval.
• Responsible for site coordination work between GC, Design Institute, and the supplier.
• Responsible for getting all applications to the government for permits and construction inspection.
WORK EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Minimum 8 years project management experiences and at least 2 years working experience with light steel structure building.
• More than 2 years experience working as a PM preferred.
• Hands-on experience in common used PC software e.g. MS office.
• Good communication skills, personal drive, initiative, resourcefulness, and management and leadership ability.
• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant fields.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
• Good command of written and spoken English.
