The Supplier Process Development Manager is responsible for the following commodities
Plastics
Sintering
Machining
Aluminium Diecasting
Iron Casting
The regional scope is mainland China, Taiwan and Japan. Activities regarding Korea are to be handled together with the Korean purchase organization.
The Supplier Process Development Manager handles his activities within the matrix organization of the group.
His/her specific responsibilities are as mentioned below:
–Take part of the decision for new suppliers
–Work in projects related with new suppliers and partly leading these projects concerning the sub project with new supplier
–Analyze the production processes of the supplier
–Work out improvement activities together with the suppliers and force to fulfill them
–Take part on potential analysis for the technical section
–Visit, evaluate and audit suppliers with a team
–Take the responsibility in the complaint management (trouble shooting) by the suppliers in case of actual quality matters
–Support according the escalation levels of insufficient delivery performances
–Performance of supplier-appraisals and tracing of the supplier-actions
–Give technical support for the purchasing-, and the technical departments
