now we are looking for Vice GM for a Chinese-Germany JV coompany which manufactures high quality springs and key parts for automotive industry.
Tasks:
1. Set up production, technical and quality management system and procedure.
2. Overall responsible for daily operation management of production, technical and quality department.
3. Based on the organization’s objective, set up goals and coach staff to set up short-term practice plans, review and consolidate the submitted plans in order to ensure the Business Unit goal meets the company’s targets.
4. Close communication with the headquarter in Germany.
5. Identifying key problems and setting priorities
6. Making continuous efforts to improve work efficiency and productivity, optimum utilization equipments in Production, ensuring production output according to production plans.
7. Technology scouting and implementation of new projects. Development of new products for the customers to ensure the functionality and performance of the new parts/products to meet the customers’ requirement.
8. Responsible for implementation and development of quality, health and safety policies.
9. Managing and coaching staff’s performance, to ensure them understand the job descriptions and requirements. Supervising or overseeing staff’s work activity and implementation and solving the difficult problems or emergency situation.
10. Retaining good employees, maintaining staff’s morale and motivating team perform
requirements:
1. College above, degree in Mechanical/manufacturing, industrial/automotive, or equipment engineering.
2. 3 - 5 years' experience in similar positions, familiar with production, technical and quality management.
3. Excellent planning, organizing and execution skill
4. Strong employee management skills
5. Strong leadership and influencing skills
6. Good communication and cooperation skills
7. Very good spoken and written English (German is preferable)
8. Familiar with 5S and TS16949
9. Initiative
10. High level of responsibility
