Main activities:
Gathers customer & internal requirements (and external constraints linked to the product definition): Prepare the product file for customer approval.
Works closely with Quality project engineer and Sales project engineer to meet customer requirements (product and timing)
Prepares and updates the technical specification files (drawings, standards, technical Bill of Material -B.O.M.) in consultation with the product line.
Create Valeo References and Part list and update it (“real-time” on public directory, “officially” one time a month).
Leads the product FMEA and co-ordinates corrective actions.
Conducts design reviews with project teams and R&D functions, before designs modification discuss with related PTM (Process, Purchasing…), submits designs to the Project Manager for final approval.
Creates the design validation plan. Validate prototypes delivery from supplier (sign Contract Reviews), apply the corrective actions after tests until the product meets validation plan requirements.
Ensures the internal logistic of these prototypes and for OTS.
Sign the contracts review in order to insure respect of the specifications and of the prototypes delivery.
Design products’ labels and validate them with the customer.
Pilot for tests’ toolings construction follow-up. Follows tests in Valeo plant and in customer plant.
Check the inputs of technical B.O.M. into R&D database and ERP/MRP system according to current procedures before FPD. Participates to FPD.
Checks design to cost, initiates technical productivity, to maximise profitability.
Makes standardisation, modification proposals and manages technical issues relating to product modifications.
Draws up, deploys and follows-up R&D tasks schedule related to project.
Is responsible for all corrective actions relating to product definition until end of phase 4 (6 months after SOP

大学本科以上学历，机械设计专业，汽车行业背景，3年以上汽车行业设计或项目设计工作经验，英语流利，会使用CATIA软件
