职位：模具工程师Tooling Engineer（欧美企业）
Report To: Commodity Manager-Far East
Subordinates: None
Key Relationships: Suppliers, Design Engineers, Production, Quality, Purchasing.
MAIN PURPOSE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1、Manage tooling assets, part qualifications and ROI for purchased tools.
2、Improve communication with metal and plastic vendor’s world wide
3、Get involved with scheduled meetings for DFM/DFA process as part of new product development (NPD) to reduce cost and improve quality.
4、Develop processes and standards for auditing tooling suppliers, quality controls and manufacturing procedures.
5、Organize tooling supplier auditing to improve quality
6、Research advanced tooling technologies to help improve quality and customer satisfaction
7、Develop best in class designs based on historical information
8、Committed to work with WW engineers and making sure the correct tooling is purchased for all new products.
9、New tooling supplier research and qualification.
10、Other work assigned from time to time.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1、BS Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Automotive Industry
2、Familiar with all kinds of tooling technologies especially metal stamping and plastic injection.
3、At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment or R&D Organization in an Automobile industry. The experience criteria can be relaxed for good candidates.
4、Should have exposure to costing of custom designed components.
5、Working experience on Tooling Engineering, Component Engineering, Creative thinking, Analysis, Presentation, Development, Implementation & verification
6、Strong communication skills, good people organizational skills, a good facilitator
7、Excellent analytical skills to identify improvement areas and make proper recommendations.
8、Strong Project Management Skills.
9、The candidate should be willing to travel extensively.
10、Excellent English skill in reading, writing and speaking.
