Our client is a leading German Machinery Manufacture for plastics processing industries.
Responsibilities:
- Buying Fabrications / Electrical / Machined parts;
- Achieve cost reduction target by identifying new qualified suppliers or optimizing the cost level of exiting suppliers;
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure the good partnership with the suppliers;
- PO writing with SAP and according to (SAP) MRP;
- Ensure delivering in time with required quality and quantity;
- Participated in the price negotiation;
- Evaluate suppliers, benchmarking;
- Supply chain management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, economics or trading;
- Native Chinese and good English in written and oral;
- At least 3 years of experience in buying fabrications and machined parts, preferably in multinational environment;
- Strong background in research, negotiation and closing deals;
- Knowledge in mechanical and able to interpret engineering drawings;
- Experience in supply chain management is a plus;
- Computer literate, knowledge of SAP is useful;
- Sound communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent organisational and planning skills;
- Integrity is a must;
- Familiar with Chinese steel market, re-forming processes (e.g. casting, forging), machining processes and processing (e.g. nitration, chroming).
